A Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in health promotion and wellness can prepare you to improve the quality of life for individuals and groups as a health educator or community health worker. This degree program is a good fit for students who are passionate about health and wellness and are interested in human anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and nutrition. Graduates will be prepared to lead the development, planning, and implementation of corporate strategies to promote employee or client health and wellbeing; identify community needs through data to inform program development and implementation; and evaluate programs designed to encourage healthy lifestyles, policies, and environments. Graduates are also eligible to take the national certification exam to become a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES).
