Nurse Visiting Senior Male Patient At Home

Nursing, R.N. to B.S.N.

This program allows practicing RNs to build upon the successful completion of an associate of science in nursing (A.S.N.) to earn the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) degree. This program is also designed to allow currently enrolled Louisiana Tech ASN students to complete many of the pre-requisite courses needed prior to graduating. The program has an interdisciplinary approach that provides the richness of perspectives offered by courses in the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences. This program also offers several advantages, such as 100% online course offerings, the ability to work while completing your degree, and flexible clinical experiences in community, leadership, and capstone courses. This program aligns with competencies recommended by the Institute of Medicine (IOM) and the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) Essentials.
